Personal best
Today I swan 1.25km in 45 minutes beating my personal best by 25 minutes:)I am swimming in honour of my Mom, My Neice, My Grandad who fought cancer, and My Grandfather who lost his battle
This year I'm taking on the Perkins Plunge in honour of incredibly strong people in my life.
My beautiful niece was diagnosed with retinoblastoma (eye cancer) at such a young age, and my mum has bravely battled ovarian cancer my grandad who battled cancer and my grandfather who passed from mesothelioma. Cancer doesnt see age. Seeing the strength, courage and resilience they have both shown has inspired me every single day.
I'm incredibly grateful that they are still with us, and I'm doing this plunge to celebrate their fight while helping raise funds to support life-changing cancer research and care. No family should have to experience the fear and uncertainty that comes with a cancer diagnosis.
Every donation, big or small, will make a difference. Thank you so much for supporting me, and for helping create hope for families facing cancer.
If you'd like to support me, you can make a donation or, even better, join me in the pool. Together, we can give more families the chance to live healthier and longer lives.
Thank you for helping WA’s best researchers beat the world’s toughest diseases.
