Honour Your Health Journey By Wearing A Yellow Cap

Your Story Matters. Let It Be Seen.

At the Perkins Plunge, Yellow Cap swimmers stand out, for all the right reasons. These swimmers have faced, or are living with a life-challenging disease.

Their bright yellow caps are a powerful symbol of strength, resilience and hope in the face of a personal health journey.

Swimming with a yellow cap is a way to honour their experience. It's a quiet but powerful statement - I've been through something big and I'm still here.

Your Yellow Cap Honours Your STRENGTH

Are you a swimmer who has faced a life-changing health journey?

The Plunge invites participants who have first-hand experience with a life-threatening disease to acknowledge their health journey by wearing a yellow swimming cap.

Whether you're currently undergoing treatment or living beyond a diagnosis, wearing the yellow cap is a way to acknowledge your story and to connect with others who understand. The yellow swimming cap is a symbol of solidarity, strength and looking forward.

If you would like to wear the yellow cap at this year's Plunge, let us know when you register or send an email.  We'll include one in your event pack, a small item that carries a big meaning.
