I’m on a mission to beat the world toughest diseases – one lap at a time.
No one wants to hear those terrible words… it’s cancer… or it’s heart disease… or diabetes or worst still – we don’t know what it is. And no one should have to see their loved ones’ suffering. Whether it is a loved one, family member, friend or much closer to home, when you’re faced with a serious disease, you want the most advanced treatments possible.
This November I am taking part in the Perkins Plunge, a 12-hour overnight swimming relay to help WA’s best medical researchers. The vital funds I raise will support the brilliant minds at the Perkins who are committed to finding breakthroughs that will lead to breakthroughs and maybe even cures for the hardest-to-treat diseases.
Myself and a group of amazing people will swim through the night (6pm-6am), along side other teams, helping to support vital medical research. I am aiming to raise $500, any and all donations are greatly appreciated.
Together, we’re helping WA’s best researchers beat the world’s toughest diseases.
