TEAM SMILEY IS MAKING A SPLASH!  

We started on two wheels.

Since then, our community has grown. We’ve ridden thousands of kilometres together, our Walking Smileys have taken thousands of steps together. And, along the way an incredible community has come together around a shared belief in hope, the joy of life and the power of medical research to change lives.

Now, we’re taking another plunge... The Perkins Plunge.

We’ll be swimming through the night to raise funds for the extraordinary researchers at the Perkins - continuing what Team Smiley is all about: bringing people together to raise money for research that can change lives - and, having a little fun along the way.

Because every breakthrough starts somewhere.

A donation funds research. Research creates knowledge. Knowledge leads to discoveries. And discoveries can become the tests, treatments and breakthroughs that give people facing cancer and other serious diseases something incredibly precious: more options, more time and more hope.

That's where the ripple starts. One small act inspires another, and before long those little ripples become something much bigger.

And, that’s why we love being part of Team Smiley.

Because when enough people come together behind something that matters, even the smallest ripple can become a wave. 

Some of us ride. Some of us walk. And now ... some of us swim. And plenty of us simply turn up to support, cheer and help spread a little hope.
