Getting there.....

HI All - well, truth be told - I've not been swimming, but my regular gyming and stretching is putting me in the right direction for the 22nd.. and I'm on the home stretch for the sponsorship stretch goal of $800 -- help me get there.. 

I’m on a mission to beat the world toughest diseases – one lap at a time.

No one wants to hear those terrible words… it’s cancer… or it’s heart disease… or diabetes or worst still – we don’t know what it is.

And no one should have to see their loved ones’ suffering..

Whether it is a loved one, family member, friend or much closer to home, when you’re faced with a serious disease, you want the most advanced treatments possible.

That’s why I am taking on the Perkins Plunge to raise vital funds for WA medical research at the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research.

I’m swimming through the night as part of a team of likeminded individuals, to help WA’s best medical researchers. The funds I raise will support the brilliant minds at the Perkins who are committed to finding breakthroughs that will lead to breakthroughs and maybe even cures for the hardest-to-treat diseases.
