Swimming for you and me
I took the plunge because I believe that WA has some of the brightest minds in medical research. Everyday there are incredible researchers who are doing all they can to find the answers to the most devastating diseases. I know that with our support they can unlock those answers. It's why that I'm committed to swimming for a few hours and do the tough yards because there are others, like WA scientists, who spend their entire lives doing the really hard work.
I’m on a mission to beat the world toughest diseases – one lap at a time.
No one wants to hear those terrible words… it’s cancer… or it’s heart disease… or diabetes or worst still – we don’t know what it is.
Whether it is a loved one, family member, friend or much closer to home, when you’re faced with a serious disease, you want the most advanced treatments possible.
That’s why I am taking on the Perkins Plunge to raise vital funds for WA medical research at the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research.
I’m swimming through the night to help WA’s best medical researchers. The funds I raise will support the brilliant minds at the Perkins who are committed to finding breakthroughs that will lead to breakthroughs and maybe even cures for the hardest-to-treat diseases.
Whether you join me in the pool (I’d love the company) or contribute to my fundraising page, your generous support matters now but, more importantly, safeguards our future health.
Together, we’re helping WA’s best researchers beat the world’s toughest diseases.
You're doing great!
