I’m on a mission to beat the world toughest diseases – one lap at a time.
Hi All, I am taking part in the Perkins Plunge this Saturday night last minute with my team ‘caps and naps’ to raise vital funds for WA medical research at the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research.
Harry Perkins is a leading charity conducting medical research into major diseases like cancer, heart disease, and diabetes to find new treatments and cures accelerating the delivery of life saving breakthroughs to improve the health of Western Australians. 1 in 4 Australians are killed by cardiovascular disease and 1 in 2 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer by the time they reach 85… which is pretty scary!
As part of the event I’ll be swimming through the night 6pm-6am this Saturday to help raise funds for WA’s best medical researchers.
I’ll be aiming to raise a target of $500 or more by Saturday night. Any donation of any size would be greatly appreciated and thanks for the support! All donation are tax deductible too (added bonus)!
